What do I need to get started?

A simple PC.

Encoding software (NetroMedia will send you links to download this free software).

Method of connecting your live feed to the PC.

Reliable Internet connection.

NetroMedia streaming account.

How does it work?

The encoding software will be installed on the PC, which will then become your live streaming encoder. The live feed or broadcast will be connected to this PC through a audio/video card generally installed in the PC. This encoding software will then "convert" (encode) your live signal to be sent out to the NetroMedia streaming platform through a secure connection. From there NetroMedia will rebroadcast this signal to as many of an audience as you want or need.
